The Challenge: When Caged Bird HR came to us, they were stuck in a situation many single-founder startups often find themselves: the brand was tethered to the founder delivering the service personally, and the branding wasn't allowing the company to have the reach and resonance with all of the audiences they had the potential to serve. They came to us asking for a rebrand that would take them to the next level.
The Approach: We undertook a 3 month sprint with CBHR leadership, conducting in-depth background research on the market, competitors, core audiences and identifying four main consumer profiles. We delivered a brand system flexible enough to resonate with all of their potential audiences, plus messaging tailored to each.
Results: CBHR had their most profitable year ever, and the business scaled from 1 full time employee to 8 within four months of our completing the work. The founder's been featured on national TV and publications, and CBHR now has 20+ staff, is launching a massive NYC subway ad campaign and is prepping for their Angel round.
